Our commitment to data security
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of information about our Users and Customers. We use industry standard technical and organizational measures to secure the information we store. For more information on where and how we store your information, please see the PairSoft Data Management & Retention Policy.
If you use our server or data center Services, responsibility for securing storage and access to the information you put into the Services rests with you, our customer, and not with PairSoft. We strongly recommend that server or data center users configure SSL to prevent interception of information transmitted over networks and to restrict access to the databases and other storage points used.
While we implement safeguards designed to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable. Thus, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is 100% safe from intrusion by others.
How we store and secure information
PairSoft is committed to minimizing data retention time and the processing of personal information prior to erasure or return. PairSoft may retain your Personal Data for a period consistent with the original purpose of collection or when required to fulfill Employ legal obligations.
Different types of personal data are stored for various periods. The retention duration depends on the business need and applicable regulatory and/or legal requirements. For example, accounting information required for tax purposes (including audits) may be retained for several years, while job applicant data is removed after 4 weeks.
Some of our data protection measures include encryption and redaction, limited physical and digital access, retention limits, scheduled compliance reviews, and standardized privacy data management processes. Dedicated teams, led by the Data Protection Officer (“DPA”), continually review information security and privacy compliance.
Although PairSoft will use reasonable efforts to secure our systems, we cannot guarantee with complete certainty that the information submitted to, maintained on, or transmitted to/from our systems—between Controllers, Processors, and Sub-Processors—will be 100% secure.
Retention periods for personal data, and the criteria used to determine those periods, are described in the PairSoft Data Management & Retention Policy.
How we transfer information internationally

We may transfer, process, and store your information outside of your country of residence, to wherever we or our third-party service providers operate to provide you with Services. Whenever we transfer your information, we take steps to protect it.
Your Personal Data may be transferred to subsidiaries and affiliates of the Company in the U.S., Canada, EU, and India only as necessary for the business purposes described in this policy via the designated data transfer mechanism, the Standard Contractual Clauses (“SCCs”) as approved by the European Commission under Article 46.2 of the GDPR. We will only use the Personal Data you provide to us in a privacy request to verify your identity or authority to make the request.

We will not charge a fee for processing or responding to your requests. However, we may charge a fee if we determine that your request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. In those cases, we will tell you how we made the decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Changes to our privacy policy
PairSoft keeps its privacy policy under regular review and will post updates regarding changes in practices, products, legal requirements and other factors on this web page. When updates are made, the date for ‘Last Updated’ (at the top of this page) will be updated.
PairSoft encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Notice to stay informed about personal data collection, processing, and sharing.
Other important privacy information
Many of our products are intended for use by Organizations. Where the Services are made available to you through an organization (e.g. your employer), that organization is the administrator of the Services and is responsible for the accounts and/or Service sites over which it has control. If this is the case, please direct your data privacy questions to your administrator, as your use of the Services is subject to that organization’s policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of an administrator’s organization, which may be different than this policy.
Administrators can:
- Require you to reset your account password
- Restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Services
- Access information in and about your account
- Access or retain information stored as part of your account
- Install or uninstall third-party apps or other integrations
In some cases, administrators can also:
- restrict, suspend or terminate your account access;
- change the email address associated with your account;
- change your information, including profile information;
- restrict your ability to edit, restrict, modify or delete information
Even if the Services are not currently administered to you by an organization, if you are a member of a PairSoft team administered by an organization, or if you use an email address provided by an organization (such as your work email address) to access the Services, then the owner of the domain associated with your email address (e.g. your employer) may assert administrative control over your account and use of the Services at a later date. You will be notified if this happens.
If you do not want an administrator to be able to assert control over your account or use of the Services, you should deactivate your membership with the relevant Trello board, team or enterprise, or use your personal email address to register for or access the Services. If an administrator has not already asserted control over your account or access to the Services, you can update the email address associated with your account through your account settings in your profile. Once an administrator asserts control over your account or use of the Services, you will no longer be able to change the email address associated with your account without administrator approval.
Please contact your organization or refer to your administrator’s organizational policies for more information.
